I'm sure Lanny Donoho had some really funny ones too as the host... I just didn't write them down. You should get his book God's Blogs - it's really funny. Based on the comment he left on my last blog post... I need to move about 10 of his books for him. So, if you need a laugh and some encouragement, go pick it up.
*Let me know how you liked this post chocked full of powerful quotes.

I'm always fond of Dave Ramsey quotes
“live your life in a way worth telling stories about.” – Mark Batterson
this quote really spoke to me.last night we were hangin out looking at old photos (sorry Brenda no fancy scrapbooks, just shoeboxes!)... laughing, crying over memories of the old neighborhood...VBS,Studio Kidz,Halloween party in the backyard(nice shot of you Pastor Patrick getting soaked!),soccer teams, baptisms(best day ever!!!!)...Great times.
wish we could go back? sometimes...but it's time to create awesome new stories in Raleigh! it was time to get out of our comfort zone.I want to MAKE EVERYDAY COUNT FOR HIM!it's so hard to look back on our old church and friends(we miss it all!) but I know God has amazing new stories to be written here. It's a whole new mission field!!!
Of course my favorite is Crystal's! JK --
"Stewardship is about managing God's stuff for His glory" Dave Ramsey.
All too often we get wrapped up in worrying about money, about how we're going to pay for this and we take our eyes off of the fact that it's all God's stuff....and we need to manage it so that HE gets all of the glory.
Hey bug--you are TOO funny--let's set up a scrapbooking date to get those stories down in books! LOL
Hey man! Good to see you Sunday night at Ridge.
I like the quote - "to recover our heart for Jesus Christ we must recover our heart for outsiders." - Dave Kinnaman.
Unfortunately it often seems too many of we "believers" forget what it was like for us when WE were lost and didn't know what to believe in . . . .
