it's hard walking in their "shoes"

Today I went barefoot with I'm sure way over the 80,000 peeps who registered for "One Day Without Shoes" with TOMS.
You can read what I wrote about it HERE and HERE.
It's actually harder than you think walking in the "shoes" of children who don't have shoes. Not to mention all the horrible physical and health effects of not having shoes.

I still haven't worn shoes, sandals, or even socks all day. It's weird that that's weird.
It's weird doing things you don't normally do without shoes:

going about my day to day business.

walking the dog around the neighborhood.

walking across the cold tile floor.

working.

walking down the sidewalk and the street in the pouring rain.

having a drink in starbucks.

You can see the "official" TOMS video for "One Day Without Shoes" that i posted here on renown yesterday and linked above. it is awesome and as all the disturbing facts about children without shoes. But below enjoy my boy & favorite Jewish Reggae Rapper Matisyahu's remix video for One Day Without Shoes!

did you go barefoot today? Tell us about it!
Did you get any crazy looks? Anything weird happen? Did you have a chance to share the TOMS story?
